Getting blue screen of death while patching WoW?

I just went to GameStop, buy World of Warcraft, very excited, open, install both cd's, running the game, patches, until it hits around 20% boom, I get the blue screen of death. its very strange because every time this happens. the% moves up! for the first time was 20, 30, 40 now 50? (This has happened 5 times of trial and error) So wondering if anyone has the same problem, or if someone can help because I really want to play WoW. I'll post my specs of my comp or what I want u, just ask. Thank you. This is certainly in the view windows
