world of warcraft squashling

Every year for two weeks in late October, the citizens of Azeroth celebrate Hallow’s End. For the World of Warcraft player this is a festive time of spooky fun that include dressing up in costumes, trick or treating, and eating candy. Events such as the scary Wickerman Festival and the fiendish Headless Horseman contribute to making this one of the most popular WoW World Events.
So how can you make lots of gold from Hallow’s End?
Tip #1: Charge Gold to Transform Players
As with most World Events, if you look hard enough you can find inventive ways to profit from them. One of these methods has to do with capitalizing on the ever-popular WoW Achievement system. Since Hallow’s End is an integral part of this system players will want to complete every single one of them.
For this gold tip, the achievement in question is called: The Masquerade. To complete this achievement the player needs to be transformed into the following 7 forms:
- Bat
- Ghost
- Leper Gnome
- Ninja
- Pirate
- Skeleton
- Wisp
Here’s how it works:
Once per hour you can “trick or treat” any innkeeper; they are NPCs found in most cities and towns. The trick turns you into something spooky or funny like a pirate or ghost. However the “treat” gives you a bag that sometimes includes Hallowed Wands that turn your group mates into various forms (listed above). If you are lucky you these tread bags contain some highly sought after rare items such as the Sinister Squashling vanity pet and the Hallowed Helm which turns your head into a pumpkin.
Enterprising players are charging 5 gold to 10 gold to transform other players into these forms. Since players are desperate to complete their achievement they will gladly pay people with these want to transform them.
Just let other players know what wands you have and set a price to cast it on them. Once they agree, you’ll have to group with them and have them be physically present to transform them. This tip is so easy that even a level one player can do it.
In order to reach the widest audience on your server it’s best to advertise your Hallow’s End wand transforming services on the Trade Channel which is only available in capital cities.
Tip #2: Grab those Candy Buckets
Here’s another tip that can make you guaranteed gold: during Hallow’s End, every single innkeeper in WoW has a candy bucket in the shape of a Jack O’Lantern. Each time you click on a candy bucket, you can make 6 gold 63 silver if you are level 80.
Did you that there are currently 128 innkeepers in all of WoW?
Given that less then half of these innkeepers are for each faction (Alliance or Horde) that’s approximately 400 gold or more! That’s a worthy chunk of change for grabbing some free candy from an inn. Remember you can only loot each candy bucket once per inn.
I hope you have enjoyed these sweet and profitable gold tips and tricks. Happy Hallow’s End!
