Where’ the best spot for gold farming in WoW?

I’m a level 76 BM hunter and I need to get some gold for my epic flying mount but I don’t know the best places to farm gold. I’m at 412 in mining also. Any suggestions as to where I can farm 3.5k gold?

If you continue doing quests around northrend you should earn a fair amount of gold, once you hit 80 any remaining quests will give you an even greater amount as a reward but I’m guessing you’ll be wanting the epic flying as soon as you hit 77

You can download an addon called ‘gatherer’ which is pretty useful from

It will put icons on your map whenever you use a mine, so you’ll know where all the mine spots are after a while.

If you get any greens have an enchanter disenchant them, the mats sell well on the AH.

If you do end up having to wait a few levels, then the Argent Tournament quests do end up giving a fair bit of gold. Once you can do the quests for the silver convenant it means you’ll have 7 or so quests a day, all giving 13gold each (and half of those give you a money bag additional reward of 10g). You can make a lot that way.
